When Does Fortnite Bleach Drop?
Mark your calendar. The Fortnite x Bleach crossover releases: Saturday 20th December 2025. Epic Games announced this with an official teaser on December 14.
This timing isn’t random. Winterfest 2025 officially begins on December 18 and Bleach is one of the premiere collabs with the holiday event. You’ll be able to find it all in the Item Shop from 8 p.m. EST on December 19 (or December 20, for most of US time) onwards.
And if you’re on a different region, check your Item Shop at these times:
- US West Coast: 5 PM PST, Dec 19
- UK: 1 AM GMT, Dec 20
- Australia: 12 PM AEDT, Dec 20
Which Bleach Characters Are Coming?
Epic didn’t hold back. You get four confirmed character skin reveals, all from the Thousand-Year Blood War arc looks.
The Confirmed Roster:
Ichigo Kurosaki – The main protagonist wielding his full Zangetsu sword. It has been rumored that his Substitute Badge will arrive in a Back Bling. This is the skin everyone has been waiting for.
Rukia Kuchiki – The Original Soul Reaper who got the ball rolling. Leaks indicate a Kon Back Bling and her Shirayuki blade as a pickaxe.
Orihime Inoue – Ichigo’s faithful friend and healer. We’d expect it for the Six Flowers Back Bling based on this early intel.
Uryu Ishida – The quincy bowman rounds out the squad. His Quincy Cross will be a Back Bling, and the Seele Schneider as a pickaxe.
These aren’t generic skins. Leaked images at a Japanese train station of the animation are highly detailed and represent what is likely the most current anime style. Epic’s making this collab look pretty polished.

How Much Are These Bleach Fortnite Skins?
Let’s talk V-Bucks. Here’s what you should expect, based on leaked pricing info and past anime collabs:
Individual Item Prices:
| Item Type | Price |
|---|---|
| Character Skins | 1,500 V-Bucks each |
| Pickaxes | 800 V-Bucks each |
| Emotes | 500 V-Bucks |
| Gliders | 1,200 V-Bucks |
The Bundle Deal:
The whole Bleach Bundle is said to cost 3,500 V-Bucks. That’s $28 worth of V-Bucks if you’re paying full price direct from Epic.
For context, the Power Rangers pack cost 3,400 V-Bucks in August of 2025. Bleach has more characters and stuff, so that price makes sense.
Pro tip: If all you want is Ichigo, get him single. But if you’re a diehard Bleach fan, the bundle saves you about 2,100 V-Bucks compared to purchasing each item individually.
What Cosmetics Are Included?
The skins are just the start. Dataminers discovered mentions of several cosmetics that would come in addition to the character outfits.
Verified Items:
Back Blings – Each character receives a thematic accoutrement:
| Character | Back Bling |
|---|---|
| Ichigo | Substitute Badge |
| Rukia | Kon plush |
| Orihime | The Six Flowers |
| Uryu | Quincy Cross |
Pickaxes – These are your harvesting tool:
| Character | Pickaxe |
|---|---|
| Ichigo | Zangetsu (iconic sword) |
| Rukia | Shirayuki (blade) |
| Orihime | Tri-Shield |
| Uryu | Seele Schneider (weapon) |

Special Items:
- “Bread Loaf Spin” Emote (we need at least one fun reference in the series)
- “Snowflake Ribbon” Glider
- “Number One – Bankai” Jam Track (for Fortnite Festival)
Will Zangetsu Be a Weapon?
Here’s where it gets interesting. Epic teased Zangetsu in its official trailer, but as of this moment it’s unclear whether we can expect a mythic weapon to spawn somewhere in Battle Royale or just a pickaxe.
Previous anime collabs have included mythic items. Dragon Ball Z showed us the Kamehameha. Naruto came back with kunai and jutsu skills. Zangetsu would likely appear as a limited time mythic in the new Blitz game mode.
Nothing’s confirmed yet. Epic is fond of surprise launches, so we may not find out until December 20 when the shop refreshes.
Why This Collab Matters
Crossovers with anime are nothing new for Fortnite. But Bleach hits different. This is one of the “Big Three” anime (next to Naruto and One Piece). This is something fans have been asking for, for a long time.
And the fact that it’s right by Winterfest makes it even bigger. You’ve got millions of players signing in for holiday items, and they’d be forced to look at Bleach front and center in the Item Shop. Epic knows what it is doing.
Previous anime collabs broke records. Attack on Titan skins were among the top-selling products in 2024. Easily enough, Bleach could match or surpass that success.
How to Get Ready
You have a few days until launch. Here’s what I recommend:
Save your V-Bucks now. If you’re after the complete bundle, make sure you’ve got 3,500 V-Bucks ready to roll. If you’re buying fresh, that’s about $30.
Don’t forget to peek at the Item Shop tomorrow at 8 PM EST. These collaborations do tend to cycle out after 7 days but in-demand items can sell-out or rotate out sooner.
Watch for bonus items. When there’s a big collab going down, Epic has been known to bake in surprise cosmetics or challenges. Keep an eye on Fortnite’s social media for last-minute posts.
Final Thoughts
The Fortnite Bleach skins are hitting the front of the item shop on December 20, 2025 and they’re what anime fans have been craving for. During Winterfest 2025. Four character skins, several cosmetic items and maybe even mythical weapons!
If you’re a fan of Bleach, this is an essential purchase. The character designs appear to be quite faithful to the anime, and judging by the leaked prices they are pretty reasonable for what you get.
I’ll refresh this guide if Epic reveals any changes or surprise additions. For the time being, though, save up those V-Bucks. I can’t wait until December 20 comes in.
